Okay, I am messing around with my template... trying to make it better. But I think I will just do it some other time. Right now I think I need to cough and take some medicine.

Wow, can you believe I have been a 'college graduate' for two days now? I can't. I graduated this past Sunday, Dec. 22nd. I of course turned the thing into a bit of a crazy event. I got up on time and ironed all my clothes. Then I took a shower........ and thats when things got bad. I felt so sick. My throat was soar, my muscles kept shaking, and my eyes would barely stay open. I kept rushing and trying to get ready, which made things worse because my legs would want to give in or my hand would shake ruining my poor make-up job anyway. Then at about, oh 9:30, I ran out of my house and walked across campus, which of course took longer since I didn't feel so hot. The whole time I was cursing my parents out for not coming and picking me up... but of course it was too late for this.
Finally I get to Krannert with 10 mins. to spare. Whew! I run downstairs and sign-in. I filled out this little paper with my name and my address. I then pinned on my honors cord onto my gown and rushed into line for finance majors. Then there was graduation. Yeah, it was not as eventful or emotional as I thought it may be. I was more upset by the fact that I was sitting on stage when all I wanted to do was be in bed! But anyway, our speaker was definitely interesting. He talked all about business ethics and morals. I am happy to say that his examples were all easy for me to decide between right and wrong. I'll thank my parents for my strong, unshakeable morals. Though I guess time will tell how strong they remain given financial problems. Although I tend to think that I will always do the right thing, even if it hurts me in the end. I guess it all goes back to something someone once told me before I went for my year in France "If it doesn't feel right in your heart, then it isn't right. And that means you don't do it". Of course this could apply to a lot of things, but I have found that going with what 'feels' right generally leads me in the right direction. Accept for once when I chose to act on a dare though I wasn't too sure about it. But hey, if you dare me... I'll do it. A secret I hope many never realize!
Right..right.. What next? Oh yeah, I then took everyone to Olive Garden. It provides food both for vegetarians and non-vegitarians. So that was all good and fun. My second family came as well as my mom's cousin who is studying in PA. My mom's cousin is staying with us for break, which is fun. But I don't really know what to do with him. We come from very different worlds. And our personalities are all very different. But he is cute and so shy. He ran scared when my two sisters, and 6 other girls were all sitting together watching a movie. He was like 'there are too many girls and I am out of place'. To us it is normal to have nine girls sitting around and chatting. But to him, whoa! He is 23, so he is still a youngin' in some ways.
So anyway, another long post as usual. What can I say. At least I am feeling better. I came home on Sunday after graduation and completely conked out at 3:30pm. I woke up at 10:30 pm to drink some juice...then preceeded to go back to sleep at 11 pm...and woke up the next day at 10:30am not feeling a whole lot better. But all day yesterday I did clean my closet and my room. I have so much stuff and no where to put it! Yikes, it is scary how much you can collect in a few short months at school. I swear, I am not going to keep a single sheet of paper, buy any more books, or purchase anymore non-work clothes. Its insane how much I have. And to think I packed for my first day of college in a laundry basket, one duffle bag, and then my comforter set for my bed. That was all I had. And that was all I needed. Living in aptartments always leads to collecting tons of stuff. I'll have to find my own place in Chicago if I plan to take most of my stuff with me. I definitely won't be living with Smitz too long! She'd go insane!
Well, this just got longer... hee hee. I need to learn to shut up...or at least to stop typing...or maybe to post more frequently...I don't know. Well anyway, I still contend that no one is really checking this except for Kate... Hi Kate!
